We walked past the Museo Nacional del Prado, a modern art museum. Richard was the only one who was looking forward to this, as the rest of us were tired and ready to go home. You can't do it all, especially with kids!

The Palacio de Cristal, within the Parque del Retiro. It was built in 1887 to exhibit plants and animals from the Philippines.  It is designed to be disassembled and moved but has sat in its location since construction.  Wish they would have stayed with the Philippines instead of Federico Guzmán’s Tuiza: The Cultures of the Bedouin Tent.
