Last time we went to Canada before we hit Europe, this time we decided to hit Europe first because east to west jetlag seems easier to over come. We stayed at Winkel Acres for most of our time with several trips to Gull Lake too.

School’s Out for the Summer!
Our original European travel plans were to fly into Prague, but it was difficult to arrange the itinerary. We decided on Germany and enjoyed some excellent beer and pretzels while we were there.
Our last few days in Tokyo

Kyoto and Fukujionsen
Old town Kyoto is the place to see Japanese people wearing traditional garb in a traditional setting. There is a great Japanese garden there which would have been serene except it was filled with temporary food stands that were all closed that day. Plus it rained almost continuously.
