After a short wadi walk, wade and some swimming you get to the cave behind us. Depending on water level sometimes getting in the cave requires going underwater but this time we just swam in. Wadi Shab is about 2 hours from the house and in the 3 years we have lived in Oman, we have never been so it was time.

You park on one side of the wadi and take a boat across this area unless you want to wade through 2 feet of mud.

This is the final bit of walking before a 100M swim to the cave entrance. There a few ledges to hang on and at least one rock to stand on to rest if needed. Ethan didn’t have shoes so this part was a little rough on the feet.
