While the power failure got resolved we headed to Hotel Bougainvillea for lunch with Steve. This hotel was founded by a couple of green thumbs who started planting flowers and trees and just could not stop themselves – a common problem for expats in Costa Rica. The grounds were beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our two visits.
This flower was buried under two other layers of plants that we dug through to find it.
The boys ran around and played hide and seek, mostly seek for Ethan (Jack tag?).
Sweet pond with bonsai on the stepping stones.
Looking at bugs.
Hot and lonely (Ethan says lost when he sees this picture) after losing at hide and seek.
A familiar looking clock.
Dining room in the hotel. The pianist played “Stairway to Heaven” and “Hotel California” and actually did them justice which I loved. Not sure anyone else really noticed.
Awesome pictures. Glad you’re having a great time. How long are you staying in Costa Rica?
