First Trip up Jebel Ahkdar
Camping in Ahkdar is one of the best ways to beat the heat in Oman during a heat wave as it is usually 15 degrees cooler. We were hot and the mountain was there so up we went.

Leah and Jennifer managed to snag a deal on a desert camp stay so we decided to head out to a less rustic camp called Sama Al Wisal.

We spend the next few days touring the Spanish Steps which were closed, a chill afternoon in Villa Borghese park and then went Biking the Appian Way! My first time on a road that is 2300 years old!!
