Tokyo and Mount Fuji

For our trip to Japan I decided to record the days events using Haikus.  Here’s a few:

Late wake up, pizza
palace, blossoms, nude hot tub
great first day Japan

fuji shinjuku
metro express local trains
travelling all day

Cherry Blosom's. We caught the end of the season in Tokyo and the beginning in Fuji.

Imperial Palace. We could only get into the Garden's that day but it was a good introduction to the architectural style of a Japanese Castle.

We ended up in this resturant because I could hear "fun" - laughing and talking. Food was great. A least one other table had too many beers and at least one set of strangers decided to join them after eating their own dinner.

The boys have all out grown Thomas but we ended up on a Thomas themed subway to Fuji so they were forced to pose for this picture.

I love talking pictures on escalators. They set everyone for a pose but it's moving so it's still a little spontaneous.

There were thousands of Japanese people of all ages coming out to the festival. It was as fun people watching as seeing the blossoms.

This is the end of a line that stretched for hundreds of people to go boating. You would have to stand in the line for 4 hours to get a boat. I'm sure some people in the line didn't even get to go.
