last day in Japan

Our last few days in Japan were spent in Tokyo.  Near our hotel was Hamarikyu Gardens which the crew enjoyed playing hide and go chase.  Also nearby was a giant fish market but it was closed so instead we walked about and then headed to the electronics district Akihabara.  There was a ton of anime, arcades and even some retro gaming stores.  I could have spent more time there but it wasn’t real inclusive for the others who didn’t grow up with SNES or N64.  We continued on and ended up in a narrow busy market near Ueno Station.  I even found an Arab selling Shwarma and then we caught the metro back to the hotel.

Every 100 feet there was a set of poles. We tried this picture at every set of poles, this was the best one… cat herding

Last minute souvenir shopping?

After some chill time we went to KAZU restaurant which had BBQ’s in the table.  We cooked our own meat including Wagyu Beef which is amazing and probably something like Kobe Beef.  On the way home there was elevator parking lot which the owner insisted we look at.

The owner was amazing, she cooked the boys food. Getting the first bite into Ethan was a bit of a challenge but after that he enjoyed it.
